My Song Choice

I have chosen to use the song 'Ain't My Fault' by Zara Larson because:

• The beat of the song fits well with the dance idea I have for the performance side of my music video due to the dance being a fast, upbeat, street dance type of dancing & is also makes it easier for me to flip between scenes and portray a narrative with fast editing/different scenes.

• The lyrics of the song suit my narrative of a girl admiring another girl who already has a boyfriend, and the 'sass' within the lyrics emphasises the all the drama within the narrative. The lyrics that suit the narrative adhere to the target audience of 16 year old's its at that age, teenagers begin to obsess over relationships and experience their first breakups and begin to explore different avenues therefore can relate to the song one some level.
